On Wednesday, May 14, Russian troops launched a missile attack on Sumy, Ukraine. The invaders struck one of the industrial facilities.

What is known about the consequences of the attack on the Sumy region?

Two people died as a result of the attack. Nine more were injured, two of whom are in serious condition.

Rescuers, medics, and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

Previously, the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, stated that Volodymyr Zelensky would go to Turkey even if the Russian dictator, Vladimir Putin, refused to have a meeting. In his opinion, it would send a clear signal to the whole world.

Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the event of his personal meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the main topics of conversation would be a complete ceasefire and a large-scale exchange of POWs under the "all for all" formula.
